Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential financial services organization in Stuttgart seeking a Collections Specialist to manage outstanding payment matters with professionalism and effectiveness.

In this role, you will focus primarily on telephone-based customer contact, proactively reaching out to clients to discuss open payments and negotiate binding solutions through persuasive and respectful communication. You will conduct negotiations via phone and email, explain contractual terms clearly, and prepare payment agreements and settlement arrangements.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting persuasive telephone conversations to secure payment commitments
• Negotiating payment terms and settlement agreements via phone and email
• Addressing customer objections with confidence and finding practical solutions
• Monitoring payment deadlines and follow-up actions consistently
• Documenting all interactions and agreements thoroughly in digital systems
• Preparing cases for legal counsel review and coordinating next steps
• Liaising with management and accounting departments on collections matters
• Contributing to the optimization of collections processes
