Revenue Advisor

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS client seeking a Revenue Advisor to join their Customer Solutions Engineering team. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role that combines technical expertise in revenue accounting with business strategy and consultative selling.

As a Revenue Advisor, you will partner closely with sales and solution teams to solve complex business challenges around revenue recognition automation. You'll act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, guiding them through transformation initiatives and demonstrating how modern platforms can modernize their quote-to-cash lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive product and sales training to become an expert in the platform and solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor on revenue recognition automation and ASC 606/IFRS 15 compliance
• Lead functional discovery sessions to understand business needs, constraints, and objectives
• Design and present tailored solutions aligned with customer goals
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and executive presentations to audiences ranging from operational teams to C-level executives
• Handle technical objections and effectively differentiate the solution from competitors
• Own the technical health and adoption strategy for assigned accounts
• Define and monitor business cases and KPIs for customer success
• Identify opportunities to expand platform adoption across business units
• Partner with Product Management to share customer insights and influence product roadmap
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Solution Architects, Product teams, and partners on strategic deals
• Support RFPs/RFIs, marketing events, and field engagements
• Occasional travel within your sales territory to support customers and events

What We're Looking For

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting
• Strong understanding of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards
• Ability to translate complex business needs into compelling, tailored solutions
• Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with comfort presenting to diverse audiences
• Strong curiosity and motivation to master technical domains and the quote-to-cash lifecycle
• Bonus: Pre-sales or consulting experience in the revenue recognition or finance software space
