Report Developer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential federal healthcare technology client in their search for a Report Developer to support critical data analytics initiatives. This is a fully remote role for candidates based in the United States.

Our talent team is seeking an experienced developer with strong cloud-based business intelligence expertise to design and implement enterprise reporting solutions. You'll work with modern data platforms and tools to build pipelines that integrate information from multiple sources into centralized analytics environments.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Spark and AWS cloud services including S3, Postgres SQL, notifications, and step functions
• Design and implement cloud-based BI and data reporting solutions using AWS to support enterprise analytics
• Build data pipelines and workflows to integrate data from multiple sources into centralized BI platforms
• Perform performance tuning in big data environments and apply AWS IAM concepts
• Develop BI reports using SAP Business Objects and Power BI with a solid understanding of BI reporting best practices
• Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability
• Apply data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and SQL scripting to complex analytics challenges
• Present findings and solutions to all levels of leadership

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of related experience in data engineering or BI development
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Spark experience
• 3+ years of experience with AWS services
• Proven ability building complex workflows to move data
• Business Intelligence reports development using Business Objects and Power BI
• Performance tuning experience in big data environments
• Working knowledge of AWS IAM concepts
• Experience with Big Data platforms such as S3, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and SQL scripting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to data accuracy and visualization design
• Experience working within Agile frameworks
• Must have lived in the U.S. at least three out of the last five years to meet public trust requirements
• U.S. work authorization (visa sponsorship not available)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Scala and Python programming languages
• Prior experience in federal healthcare environments with fraud, waste, and abuse data

Work Details:

• 100% remote position
• 40 hours per week, available during core hours Monday–Friday 9am–5pm EST
• Requires ability to pass a background check and obtain public trust clearance
