About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential client in the waste management sector who is seeking a Fleet Support Manager for a fixed-term maternity cover contract through October 2027. This is a remote position based in the United Kingdom.
Our client operates a significant fleet operation and requires an organised, analytical professional to transform fleet data into actionable insights. Working alongside senior fleet leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll manage critical data processes that drive performance understanding, cost optimisation, and strategic decision-making across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Manage and analyse fleet information from various systems and supplier sources, producing reports that inform performance metrics and cost analysis
- Oversee the vehicle movement process and maintain accurate asset records
- Generate fleet reports, datasets, and management information for stakeholders
- Monitor supplier performance, key performance indicators, and pricing structures
- Identify opportunities to improve fleet utilisation and replacement planning strategies
- Serve as a key user of fleet management systems, supporting reporting, compliance requirements, and trend analysis
- Contribute to fleet procurement projects, tender documentation, and business case development
- Support the vehicle ordering process and coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers
What We're Looking For
- Strong comfort level working with systems, data, and reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical capabilities
- Proficient MS Office skills, particularly advanced Excel
- Previous experience in system administration, data management, and data analysis
- Ability to manage your own workload independently
- Confident communication skills across all organisational levels
- Effective team player who can also work autonomously
- Experience in transport, logistics, waste management, B2B service delivery, or management systems (ISO) is advantageous but not required
