About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Oncology Infusion Center, you'll deliver compassionate, skilled nursing care in a fast-paced, specialized environment. This full-time position operates on a day shift, 10-hour schedule, offering predictable hours and the chance to develop deep relationships with patients undergoing infusion therapy.
What You'll Do
- Administer chemotherapy and biologic agents according to physician orders and established oncology protocols
- Assess and monitor patients for infusion reactions, side effects, and changes in clinical status
- Maintain central lines and peripheral IV access, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, expected side effects, and self-care strategies
- Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and document nursing interventions
- Support a healing environment grounded in dignity, respect, and evidence-based practice
What We're Looking For
- Current Texas RN license in good standing
- Experience in oncology nursing or infusion therapy (preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients with competing priorities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
