About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, you'll provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients working toward recovery and independence. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and care coordinators to support each patient's rehabilitation goals while managing acute nursing needs.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and manage pain control with precision and compassion
- Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, and other clinical indicators
- Facilitate patient participation in physical and occupational therapy sessions
- Educate patients and families about recovery, self-care, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, social workers, and rehabilitation specialists
- Document patient progress, nursing interventions, and clinical outcomes in the medical record
- Support patients transitioning from acute illness or surgery toward functional independence
What We're Looking For
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or patient-centered nursing environments
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare setting
- Commitment to patient advocacy and evidence-based practice
