About the Role

You'll serve as a frontline origination professional, guiding borrowers through the mortgage process while nurturing partnerships with real estate agents and brokers. Based in Silver Lake, you'll work with agents and brokerages throughout California, Washington, Oregon, Utah, and Idaho—collaborating with established firms like Windermere Real Estate and select regional partners. Your focus: turning purchase transactions into funded mortgages through expert relationship management and white-glove service.

What You'll Do

• Meet with prospective borrowers to understand their financial situations and mortgage needs
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with real estate professionals and mortgage brokers
• Evaluate borrower qualifications and recommend appropriate loan products
• Prepare complete, accurate mortgage applications and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with underwriting, appraisal, and closing teams to ensure timely loan approvals
• Stay informed on industry regulations, lending guidelines, and market trends
• Develop your client base through agent referrals and broker relationships

What We're Looking For

• Valid Washington mortgage loan officer license (licenses in other states are valuable)
• Proven experience originating residential purchase mortgages
• Established success working with real estate agents and brokers
• Comfortable with loan origination software and standard computer applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance in a regulated industry
• Full-time availability and drive to build a successful lending practice
