Cost Analyst (Entry Level) with Security Clearance

Tecolote Research is seeking an Entry Level Cost Analyst with Security Clearance to join our team at Hill Air Force Base in Davis County, Utah. What You'll Do

• Build and refine cost estimation models using mathematical and statistical methods
• Analyze historical data and performance trends to support accurate forecasting and projections
• Prepare comprehensive, well-documented cost analyses and financial reports
• Apply structured problem-solving techniques to identify cost drivers and potential improvements
• Partner with stakeholders and colleagues across teams to gather requirements and deliver targeted analytical support
• Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation processes

What We're Looking For

• Active or eligible for a security clearance (required for this position)
• Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, data analysis, or quantitative disciplines
• Proficiency with data analysis tools, spreadsheet modeling, and quantitative software
• Clear communication skills—able to explain technical findings to diverse audiences
• Problem-solving mindset with a methodical, detail-oriented approach
