About the Role

As a Registered Nurse Patient Navigator in our Orthopedic Medical Unit, you'll serve as a trusted bridge between patients, families, and the clinical care team. This full-time nursing position combines direct patient care with care coordination, helping orthopedic patients understand their treatment options, manage recovery milestones, and access the resources they need to heal successfully.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care and patient education on the orthopedic medical unit
• Guide patients through treatment plans and help them understand their care goals
• Coordinate between patients, physicians, nursing staff, and support services
• Assess patient needs and connect them with appropriate resources and referrals
• Support discharge planning and post-care transitions
• Monitor patient progress and advocate for optimal outcomes
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to reduce anxiety and improve engagement

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in patient care, patient advocacy, or care coordination (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Compassion and commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment
