About the Role

As a Federal Protective Security Officer with an active Secret security clearance, you will be the frontline guardian of federal facilities and personnel. You'll combine vigilance, professionalism, and sound judgment to detect, deter, and respond to security threats in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.

What You'll Do

• Monitor access points, conduct visitor screenings, and enforce security protocols at federal facilities
• Perform regular patrols, inspections, and threat assessments across assigned areas
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and suspicious activities
• Maintain detailed security logs, incident reports, and documentation for federal compliance
• Operate security systems, surveillance equipment, and communication devices
• Coordinate with law enforcement, federal partners, and emergency services when required
• Adhere to all federal security regulations, clearance requirements, and use-of-force policies

What We're Looking For

• Current or eligibility for a Secret-level security clearance
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant security training or military background preferred
• Excellent observational and decision-making skills under pressure
• Professional communication abilities and strong customer service orientation
• Physical fitness to perform duties including standing, walking, and responding to emergencies
• Background suitability for federal work and willingness to undergo background investigation
• Knowledge of federal security standards and procedures a plus
