About the Role
As an Armed Security Flex Officer with Allied Universal, you'll work on flexible schedules providing armed security services across diverse facilities and environments throughout the Dallas area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in keeping our clients' properties and personnel safe.
What You'll Do
- Patrol and monitor assigned premises, identifying and reporting potential security threats or suspicious activity
- Control access points, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs at building entrances
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations with professionalism and sound judgment
- Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure security protocols are being followed
- Communicate effectively with clients, law enforcement, and fellow team members to maintain a secure environment
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation
- Follow all company policies and security procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- Valid Armed Security Officer certification and license for the State of Texas
- Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina for extended periods of standing and walking
- Strong attention to detail and observational abilities
- Reliable, professional demeanor with a commitment to customer service
- Ability to pass a background check and meet security clearance requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
