About the Role
This Law Clerk position is designed for driven early-career lawyers ready to put bar knowledge into practice. You'll take on substantive legal work, working directly alongside practicing litigators on active cases, contributing to real client matters, and building the professional foundation that defines a strong legal career. This is a full-time opportunity where your contributions matter from day one.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analyze case law applicable to client matters
- Review and analyze pleadings, discovery documents, and case files for litigation strategy
- Draft motions, memoranda, pleadings, and trial materials under attorney guidance
- Support trial preparation, evidence organization, and courtroom logistics
- Assist in client communications and case administration
- Perform legal writing and support core functions across the litigation practice
What We're Looking For
- Recent law school graduate or newly admitted California attorney
- Passed the California Bar Examination (or awaiting results)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage tasks independently
- Commitment to professional development and litigation practice
- Excellent communication skills and reliability
