Position Summary

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings from trials and administrative proceedings with absolute accuracy
- Format transcripts according to legal and court standards
- Review and edit transcribed material for completeness and precision
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive legal proceedings
- Collaborate with court reporters and legal teams to resolve questions or clarify complex terminology
What We're Looking For
- Active Federal Government Security Clearance (required)
- Proven experience as a legal transcriber or court reporter
- Strong command of grammar, legal terminology, and punctuation
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in sensitive legal documents
- Familiarity with transcription software and industry standards
