About the Role
As a Senior Scientist, Computational Biology at Korro Bio, you will apply computational and quantitative methods to support the discovery and development of next-generation RNA editing therapeutics. Working alongside cross-functional research teams in Cambridge, you will turn large, complex datasets into actionable biological insight that shapes program direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and apply computational approaches to analyze biological and genomic datasets supporting RNA editing programs.
- Partner with discovery, platform, and translational scientists to interpret results and inform experimental strategy.
- Build and refine analytical pipelines and tools for high-throughput sequencing and related data.
- Communicate findings clearly to both computational and laboratory-based colleagues.
- Contribute to the scientific direction of differentiated therapeutic programs across rare and prevalent diseases.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing large biological or sequencing datasets.
- Proficiency with programming and statistical tools commonly used in computational biology.
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary research environment.
- A track record of translating data analysis into meaningful scientific conclusions.
