About the Role

As a Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist with Ochsner Health in Slidell, you will support the clinical delivery of advanced radiation therapy at the SMH Regional Cancer Center. This is an excellent opportunity for both new graduates and current residents, who are warmly encouraged to apply. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the safe, accurate, and high-quality delivery of radiation oncology treatments
• Support precision treatment planning and the verification of therapeutic dose
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary cancer care team aligned with Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center standards
• Help maintain quality assurance and patient safety throughout the radiation therapy process
• Apply current best practices and innovative techniques in clinical medical physics

Qualifications

• Education and training in medical physics consistent with a radiation oncology medical physicist role
• New graduates and current residents are welcome to apply
• Commitment to patient safety, precision, and collaborative, team-based care
• Willingness to work on-site in Slidell, Louisiana (this is not a remote position)
