About the Role

As an Armed Patrol Security Officer at this firearms and ammunition production facility, you'll serve as a frontline protector of critical infrastructure, personnel, and sensitive inventory. This is a full-time position requiring on-site presence and the authority to carry firearms while performing protective duties across the plant perimeter and interior.

What You'll Do

• Conduct armed patrols of the facility grounds, buildings, and sensitive storage areas
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors
• Respond to security incidents, suspicious activity, and emergency situations
• Maintain detailed security logs, incident reports, and facility records
• Operate surveillance systems and alarm monitoring equipment
• Enforce security protocols and federal compliance standards for explosives handling and storage
• Communicate effectively with law enforcement, management, and security team members
• Maintain physical security and report maintenance issues affecting facility protection

What We're Looking For

• Current or transferable armed security guard license or certification
• Valid Firearms Safety Certificate and weapons carry authorization
• Ability to pass thorough background investigation and security clearance requirements
