About the Role

This is a hands-on security position protecting a residential apartment community. What You'll Do

• Conduct regular patrols of apartment premises, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter grounds
• Monitor and control access to buildings and grounds, verifying resident and visitor credentials
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, and emergency calls with appropriate action and follow-up
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and maintenance issues to management
• Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs with accuracy and attention to detail
• Enforce community rules and security protocols consistently and professionally
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, emergency personnel, and management
• Provide a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects Allied Universal's standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid armed security license or ability to obtain one in California
• Successful background check clearance and eligibility for armed position
• Strong observation and communication skills with a customer-service focus
• Ability to stay calm and think clearly under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working shift schedules
• Professional judgment and sound decision-making
• Physical ability to patrol and respond to security matters
