What You'll Do
- Coordinate nursing operations, staffing, and clinical workflows within the Medical-Surgical ICU
- Partner with physicians, specialists, and care teams to optimize patient care delivery and safety
- Mentor nursing staff on evidence-based practices, clinical skills, and professional development
- Monitor quality indicators and patient outcomes; lead improvement initiatives
- Participate in hospital councils, clinical committees, and professional nursing organizations
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols
- Support unit culture, staff engagement, and operational excellence
What We're Looking For
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Texas
- 3+ years of nursing experience, ideally in Medical-Surgical or Intensive Care settings
- Strong clinical assessment skills and acute-care nursing knowledge
- Demonstrated leadership and excellent interpersonal communication
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional nursing standards
- Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
