Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and implement functional specifications accordingly
- Participate in software design and architecture decisions
- Build efficient back-end features using Python and Django
- Integrate front-end and back-end components into cohesive applications
- Supervise software testing processes and ensure all bugs are resolved
- Develop technical documentation and reports for software systems
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement designs into clean, maintainable code
- Continuously propose improvements to enhance software functionality and performance
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development with strong Django expertise
- Proven experience developing RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF)
- Proficiency with relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite
- Strong understanding of ORMs, database design, and query optimization
- Experience with asynchronous processing using Celery and task queues
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth
- Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to thrive in fast-paced environments
