About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential AI research organization seeking a Punjabi Music Specialist for a fully remote contract position based in Canada. This role offers an exciting opportunity to evaluate AI-generated music and lyrics, bringing your expertise in Punjabi music and language to cutting-edge technology development.
Contract Details: Up to 6 months, approximately 20 hours per week, fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated music across various genres and rate it against detailed quality standards
- Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities and assess originality
- Rate lyrics based on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and authenticity
- Assess whether lyrics sound natural, considering word choice, slang, and regional expressions appropriate to Punjabi language and culture
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet evaluation deadlines
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Punjabi
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
- Professional experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist
- Strong knowledge of the Punjabi music scene
- Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening
Preferred:
- Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition
- Credited or published songwriting work
- Broad familiarity with contemporary Punjabi genres, sub-genres, and artists
