Project Engineer (Civil)

Keeley Construction is hiring a Project Engineer (Civil) in New Braunfels, Comal County to lead the planning, design coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects. This is a full-time position for someone ready to build their career with a growing, people-first construction company.

About the Role

As our Project Engineer (Civil), you'll bridge the gap between design and field execution. You'll own key responsibilities across project planning, site coordination, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication. This role suits engineers eager to gain hands-on experience in civil construction while making a direct impact on project success in the New Braunfels area and surrounding Comal County region.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and manage civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Review design documents, specifications, and submittals to ensure constructability and compliance
• Conduct site inspections and document progress, quality, and safety compliance
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies
• Support estimating and bid development for new projects
• Troubleshoot field issues and implement corrective actions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Strong technical knowledge of civil construction practices and building codes
• Proficiency with design software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Professional licensure (FE/PE) or pathway to licensure preferred
