Project Accountant

What This Role Involves

As Project Accountant at Trilongroup in Jackson, you'll serve as a financial steward for our project-based business. Working alongside Project Managers, you'll track costs, monitor budgets, and ensure financial accuracy across our portfolio of client work.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee cost tracking for project labor and out-of-pocket expenses
• Process and reconcile invoices from external contractors and suppliers
• Prepare billing documentation and assist Project Managers with client invoicing
• Monitor project spending against established budgets and escalate potential cost overruns
• Create cost projections and effort forecasts to guide budget planning and resource allocation
• Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices before payment processing
• Maintain comprehensive records of all project-related financial transactions
• Analyze billing disputes and investigate spending discrepancies to find solutions
