Program Lead- Rural Health Sustainable Access

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is seeking a full-time Program Lead for Rural Health Sustainable Access in Lansing, Ingham County, to lead transformative initiatives that expand and strengthen healthcare access across underserved rural communities.

About the Role

As Program Lead for Rural Health Sustainable Access, you'll direct strategic programs designed to address critical gaps in rural healthcare delivery and create lasting solutions for access and equity. This hands-on leadership position combines strategic planning, community engagement, and operational oversight to build sustainable pathways for underserved populations to obtain quality healthcare services.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive rural health access strategies aligned with community needs and long-term sustainability goals
• Lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and scale programs that expand healthcare availability in rural regions
• Build and strengthen partnerships with healthcare providers, government agencies, local organizations, and community stakeholders
• Conduct assessments of rural health systems to identify structural barriers, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
• Manage program budgets, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining high-quality outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction
• Track program performance through data analysis and outcome measurement to drive continuous improvement
• Provide technical guidance and support to rural healthcare organizations and community partners
• Develop proposals, reports, and strategic recommendations for clients and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing healthcare programs, health initiatives, or related projects
• Deep understanding of rural health challenges, healthcare access barriers, and health equity issues
• Proven success developing and executing complex strategies and leading multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with diverse audiences
• Experience with program evaluation, metrics development, and data-driven analysis
• Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, public policy, business, or related field
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic consulting environment
