About the Role

As the Program Lead for Rural Health Sustainable Access, you will direct the day-to-day delivery of a program designed to expand and sustain reliable health services in underserved rural areas of Kansas. Based on-site in Topeka, Shawnee County, this position blends strategic oversight with hands-on coordination, ensuring that program goals translate into measurable, lasting outcomes for the communities Hagerty serves. The role is full-time and is not a remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and ongoing management of the Rural Health Sustainable Access program from start to finish.
• Coordinate with clients, community partners, and internal teams to keep deliverables aligned with program objectives and timelines.
• Monitor progress, identify risks early, and develop practical solutions that keep initiatives on track.
• Support preparedness and resilience efforts that improve long-term access to rural health resources.
• Prepare reports, briefings, and documentation that communicate status and results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading programs or projects, ideally connected to health, public services, or community-focused initiatives.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with comfort engaging diverse stakeholders and partners.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to public-service outcomes.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Topeka, Shawnee County.
