About the Role
You'll join our engineering team to develop intelligent embedded systems for industry-leading automation equipment. Working directly with advanced assembly machines in our engineering labs, you'll translate hands-on hardware experience into practical software solutions. This role bridges research and real-world application—you'll have immediate access to cutting-edge equipment and the autonomy to experiment, test, and refine embedded software that directly impacts machine performance and customer outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Research, design, and develop embedded software systems for automation assembly equipment
- Engineer and optimize software algorithms to enhance existing features and enable new capabilities
- Access advanced automation machines and equipment in our labs for hands-on development and validation
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and product teams to translate requirements into working embedded systems
- Debug, test, and deploy embedded software across diverse automation platforms
- Contribute to continuous innovation and improvement of assembly automation solutions
What We're Looking For
- Strong programming foundation in C, C++, Python, or similar embedded systems languages
- Experience with microcontrollers, embedded Linux, real-time operating systems, or hardware-level development
- Problem-solving ability and skill debugging complex hardware-software interactions
- Interest in or experience with automation, industrial equipment, or manufacturing technology
- Self-directed learner who thrives hands-on in lab environments
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
