About the Role
As a Production Operator (1st Shift) at Lactalis LAG, you'll be an essential part of our production team, operating and monitoring state-of-the-art equipment in our Belmont facility. What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure consistent output and product quality
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
- Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and cleaning
- Identify and report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and schedules
- Document production data and keep accurate records
- Support continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work a full-time 1st shift schedule, including potential overtime
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes
- Experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus but not required—we'll train the right person
