About This Opportunity
We are representing a fast-growing AI-powered SaaS company in their search for a founding Product Specialist based in London. Our client is experiencing exceptional growth and serves thousands of customers ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 organizations. This role sits at the critical intersection of customer support and product quality, helping to define world-class support in an AI-first environment.
As the founding Product Specialist in London, you'll respond to live support requests, investigate technical issues in real time, and work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure rapid resolution. You'll play a key role in keeping customers unblocked while helping the team stay fast, focused, and connected to user needs.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming support tickets and product questions across multiple channels (support platform, Slack, email)
- Investigate live issues, replicate bugs, and gather comprehensive technical details
- Create well-scoped bug reports with full context, reproduction steps, and priority guidance
- Partner with engineering and product teams to coordinate resolution efforts and track progress
- Follow up with users once fixes or workarounds are implemented
- Maintain clean documentation, internal tools, and support workflows using project management platforms
- Identify recurring themes in customer feedback and flag actionable insights to product leadership
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 2–4+ years of experience in support engineering, product operations, customer success, customer experience, or customer support at a SaaS company
- Clear and calm communicator with high empathy, especially when customers are blocked
- Curious and scrappy approach—you dig into bugs, run tests, and clarify edge cases
- Excellent at fast context switching and capable of working with speed across multiple threads
- Ability to balance fast response times with thoughtful root cause analysis
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable coordinating across functions
- Based in London or open to relocating (in-office 5 days per week)
Nice to have:
- Prior experience in AI, SaaS, or recruiting technology sectors
- Technical or product management background
- Experience with support and product operations tools
- Ability to write internal documentation, create bug tickets, or support triage automation
- Early-stage startup experience and comfort thriving in fast-paced, scrappy, ambiguous environments
