Product & Operations Management Apprentice

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Product & Operations Management Apprentice to join their telecommunications-focused team in Bordeaux. In this hands-on apprenticeship, you will manage an end-to-end mobile app project with significant business impact, gaining exposure across the complete product lifecycle.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Managing a mobile app project from discovery through launch, collaborating daily with developers, product managers, operations teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Supporting product discovery by analyzing customer insights, user research, and analytics tools (Amplitude, Tableau, Google Sheets) to identify opportunities and contribute to solution hypotheses
• Driving delivery with the development squad by collaborating on user stories, acceptance criteria, and participating in agile rituals including stand-ups, planning sessions, refinements, and retrospectives
• Leading QA processes and release readiness activities
• Coordinating cross-functional product launches by working with Operations, Customer Care, Content, Marketing, Design, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure all launch requirements are met
• Maintaining documentation in Confluence to keep all stakeholders aligned throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitoring product performance and customer journey metrics, surfacing insights and proposing optimizations
• Supporting experiment design and follow-up, including A/B testing and funnel diagnostics
• Assisting with day-to-day operational logistics for selected product lines, including process updates, partner coordination, and data monitoring
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational reliability and efficiency

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates who are enrolled in a French school and eligible for a work-study contract (contrat d'alternance/d'apprentissage). This is a 12-month apprenticeship beginning January 2027, with the possibility of extending to 24 months.

Essential qualifications:

• 100% fluency in both spoken and written English and French (mandatory requirement)
• Currently enrolled in a French educational institution and eligible for an apprenticeship contract
• Strong interest in product and project management with a user-centered approach
• Curiosity and ability to switch between strategic thinking and detailed execution
• Ownership mentality with excellent questioning and follow-through skills
• Organized, resourceful, and capable of clear, structured communication
• Comfort working with data: ability to read funnels, interpret trends, and form data-driven hypotheses
• Strong team collaboration skills and enjoyment working with engineers, designers, operations teams, and customer-facing staff

Bonus qualifications:

• Prior exposure to product management, e-commerce, telecommunications, or marketplace operations

You will work with tools including Jira, Confluence, Figma, Amplitude, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Tableau, and Google Sheets.
