About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization that is building digital infrastructure for the European horticulture sector. Our client is developing a platform that enables growers, buyers, and distributors to collaborate efficiently, replacing fragmented processes with modern software solutions.
We are seeking a Product Manager (m/w/d) for the Grower Experience domain to work alongside engineering and design teams, developing applications for horticultural businesses. This role reports directly to the Chief Product Officer.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for the Grower Experience domain
- Conduct weekly conversations with growers independently, building relationships and making on-site visits at regular intervals (driving license required)
- Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams, co-leading user interviews and translating insights into concrete product decisions while guiding the team through the entire product development process
- Understand and articulate the business value of product decisions through KPI frameworks, using tracking and analytics data to validate assumptions and make data-driven decisions
- Communicate roadmaps, PRDs, and product decisions clearly and convincingly in both written and verbal formats
- Leverage AI tools routinely for prototyping, data analysis, and driving an efficient, AI-supported product development process with your engineering team
- Take full ownership for the success of your product area, from strategy through to commercial KPIs
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in product management for B2B software products
- Experience independently conducting user interviews, with willingness to make irregular on-site visits to growers (driving license required)
- Knowledge of common tracking and analytics tools
- Excellent written communication skills for roadmaps and product requirement documents
- Current AI experience: staying up-to-date with new developments and finding ways to use AI efficiently in your work and embedded within the software team
- Fluent German and very good English
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise resource planning processes or commerce workflows
- Software background combined with product management experience
