Product Lead – AI Stockbroking

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client seeking a Product Lead - AI Stockbroking based in Malaysia. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence at least three days per week.

Our client is building next-generation financial products for Southeast Asia, and this role will own critical product areas within their AI-powered stockbroking platform. You'll be working with a global team of over 20 nationalities who are passionate about creating accessible financial services for millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Own product areas across stockbroking, investing, and related financial services
• Define user problems, product scope, success metrics, roadmaps and launch plans
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, operations, compliance and business teams to ship products
• Transform complex financial products into simple, intuitive customer experiences
• Leverage data, user feedback, research and production insights to inform product decisions
• Launch features, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement
• Balance trade-offs between speed, user experience, business impact, compliance requirements and operational complexity

What We're Looking For

• Experience as Product Manager, Product Owner, founder, or in growth/product operations roles
• Strong product intuition with ability to simplify complex workflows
• Proven ability to collaborate with engineers and designers to deliver shipped products
• Comfort working with metrics, user feedback, experimentation and post-launch analysis
• Excellent written communication, prioritization and stakeholder management skills
• High ownership mindset with ability to drive work independently
• Experience in fintech, insurance, payments, consumer applications or high-growth products strongly preferred
• User-first approach, starting from problems rather than feature lists
• Ability to make decisions with incomplete information and ship quickly
• Strong English communication skills required for global team collaboration

This role is not suitable for: Candidates who focus on documentation over execution, cannot work deeply with engineering teams, require complete data before making decisions, or do not follow through after launch.

Pay
