Backend / Full Stack Developer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential AI technology client in Krailling seeking a Backend or Full Stack Developer to advance their platform. Working closely with the existing development team, you will:

• Develop and operate backend services and REST APIs
• Build and optimize AI orchestration systems including language model integration, tool-calling, agent workflows, and evaluation frameworks
• Refactor existing components and improve performance
• Analyze and resolve bugs while maintaining high code quality
• Integrate external data sources and interfaces
• Depending on your profile, contribute to frontend development and guide features from API through to UI
• Participate in the full lifecycle from concept to production deployment

AI-assisted development is part of the daily workflow at this organization. You will work with modern AI tools and coding agents while building the AI capabilities that power the product itself.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of backend development experience, ideally with Python and/or TypeScript
• Strong skills in REST API design and operations
• Experience with databases and an instinct for testable, maintainable code
• Frontend experience with React is advantageous if you wish to take on full-stack responsibilities
• Interest in or experience with language model integration and building agent-based systems
• Openness to AI-assisted development workflows
• Strong awareness of data privacy and security considerations
• Independent, structured working style and enjoyment of small-team collaboration
• Excellent German and English language skills
