Product & Business Analyst

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential music education technology client in their search for a Product & Business Analyst based in London. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone early in their product career who wants hands-on exposure to the complete product lifecycle—from discovery and requirements through delivery, measurement, and iteration.

Our client operates a fast-growing European platform, and you'll work directly with senior product leadership in a highly visible role. Responsibilities

• Feature conceptualization: Transform data insights and evidence into actionable product concepts, sprint-ready user stories, and measurable outcomes. Own the full loop from insight to delivery to post-launch analysis.
• Requirements engineering: Convert customer feedback and support insights into clear, buildable user stories with business context, acceptance criteria, and edge cases. Maintain a clean qualification funnel so every ticket entering a sprint is properly specified.
• Sprint operations: Manage backlog hygiene, coordinate standup and review rituals, flag dependencies, and track blockers with the development team to ensure decisions are made once and executed consistently.
• UAT, QA, and testing: Lead regression and release testing, reproduce defects accurately, maintain a transparent bug board, and support user acceptance testing and end-to-end dry runs.
• Analytics and performance measurement: Own recurring KPI reporting, identify and close measurement gaps, and turn funnel and cohort data into actionable insights. Evaluate every feature launch against impact and learning objectives.

What We're Looking For

• A relevant degree in business engineering, IT, information systems, digital business administration, or a related field (ongoing or recently completed)
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a build-measure-learn mindset
• Structured and detail-oriented approach to documentation and reproducible analysis
• Solid working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and dashboard tools; willingness to learn quickly
• Comfortable with software development concepts; able to read and understand code with AI assistance
• Proficient in German (minimum B2) and English (C1); English is the main operating language, German essential for Swiss market engagement
• Already using AI tools productively and genuinely curious about how software is built
• Self-managing and effective in a fast-moving, distributed team environment

Nice to have: Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies, ticket systems, manual QA or test-case experience, and interest in music, education, or marketplace business models.
