Lead – Global Partnerships and Fundraising

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential social impact organization with operations across multiple continents. Our client is seeking a strategic Lead - Global Partnerships and Fundraising to join their Berlin-based team and drive expansion of their international funding pipeline. This is a flexible/remote role reporting directly to senior leadership, focused on securing high-value philanthropic and corporate partnerships that fuel mission-driven programs globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead global growth strategy to identify and secure high-value funding opportunities from major corporations, philanthropic foundations, and institutional donors
• Map out, engage, and pitch to global decision-makers, driving complex multi-year funding partnerships from initial outreach to contract execution
• Oversee the drafting of high-impact, persuasive funding proposals that align with donor priorities and clearly articulate scalable social impact
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to construct transparent, realistic project budgets aligned with large-scale programmatic goals
• Build and manage C-level relationships with global corporate partners, funding networks, and international institutions to foster long-term collaboration
• Drive lead generation and deal closure across multiple markets simultaneously

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in high-level fundraising, corporate partnership development, or strategic sales within an international organization, social enterprise, or global NGO
• Proven track record of successfully securing large-scale (six and seven-figure) funding for complex, multi-country projects
• Strong existing network and established relationships with global donors, corporate foundations, and philanthropic ecosystems
• Exceptional writing, editing, and pitch-deck creation skills with ability to translate complex frameworks into compelling narratives
• Client-first mindset with executive-level interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to thrive in an agile, cross-cultural, and international team environment
• Native-level English is essential; proficiency in another major language is a strong asset
• Comfort working in flexible/remote arrangements with a Berlin-based organization
