About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity consulting organization with an international presence and operations across Germany. Our client advises enterprise-level organizations on critical security topics including OT security, risk assessment, compliance, and strategic security frameworks. They combine agile methodologies with deep technical expertise to deliver high-impact consulting services.

As Principal Cybersecurity, you will take entrepreneurial responsibility for business growth and client development in the cybersecurity practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies for cybersecurity consulting and service offerings
• Identify and acquire new key accounts while expanding relationships with existing clients
• Position cybersecurity capabilities in the market across domains including security strategy, governance, risk and compliance, cloud security, security operations, and operational technology security
• Lead complex proposal processes (RFI/RFP), including proposal development, pricing strategy, and C-level contract negotiations
• Collaborate with leadership teams across practices to develop integrated service offerings
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with technology vendors, resellers, and ecosystem partners
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and relevant committees
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, combining strategic consulting expertise with strong commercial acumen

What We're Looking For

• Outstanding university degree, ideally in a STEM field
• 10+ years of extensive experience in cybersecurity, ideally in consulting or comparable role with strong business development focus
• Proven track record building and growing client accounts and selling complex cybersecurity services and solutions
• Strong knowledge of the cybersecurity market, including threat landscapes, regulations, technologies, vendor ecosystems, and enterprise client needs
• Confidence engaging with C-level executives with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong results orientation and passion for shaping growing business areas
• Experience leading proposal teams and managing complex deals
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements, business development, and internal collaboration

Location: Hamburg, München, Düsseldorf, or remote within Germany. Relocation within Germany is not required.
