Management Consultant Enterprise Architecture (all genders)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential digital transformation consulting organization seeking a Management Consultant for Enterprise Architecture. This role supports clients across multiple industries as they navigate complex business and IT transformations. You'll work remotely or from Hamburg, München, or Düsseldorf, partnering with business and IT stakeholders to design scalable architectures and drive sustainable change.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture strategies, governance models, target architectures, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and value streams
• Design business capabilities, processes, application portfolios, and platform landscapes to enable scalable digital operating models
• Develop modern data, API-first, integration, and event-driven architectures that ensure interoperability and business value
• Lead transitions from legacy and monolithic environments to cloud-native, modular, microservices-based architectures
• Guide clients through technology landscape harmonization, technical debt reduction, and IT migrations
• Design multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments reflecting requirements such as migration strategies, business resilience, open-source solutions, and DevOps processes
• Drive AI readiness, define architectures for AI-enabled and agentic systems, and champion effective use of AI tools to accelerate architecture and delivery
• Establish architecture principles, standards, processes, and decision frameworks for enterprise-wide adoption
• Advise stakeholders up to executive level, facilitate workshops, apply agile methodologies such as SAFe, and ensure successful implementation of architectural change

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 4 years of proven experience in Enterprise and IT Architecture, ideally across multiple industries
• Proficiency in leveraging modern AI tools to improve architecture design, consulting, and delivery
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements
• Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Architecture Governance, and maturity assessments
• Experience with Business Capability Management, Business-IT Alignment, IT Strategy, and IT Governance
• Deep knowledge of business, application, information, data, integration, technology, and security architecture
• Proficiency in API-first, event-driven, service-oriented, cloud-native, and microservices architectures
• Understanding of data management concepts including master data management, data lakes, and data mesh
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, or ServiceNow
• Experience with architecture modeling standards like ArchiMate
• Knowledge of AI readiness and modern AI-enabled enterprise platforms
