About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential automotive technology client seeking an intern for Business Development & Media - OEM Partnerships. This is a 3-6 month internship opportunity based in Munich with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days office, 2 days remote). The role can be undertaken as either a mandatory or voluntary internship as part of your studies.

Our client operates a leading digital marketplace platform in the automotive sector, working with major automotive manufacturers and media agencies across Europe. This internship sits within the German OEM & Media team, which builds retail media partnerships with automotive brands.

Responsibilities

• Build data-driven analyses and pitch materials for automotive manufacturer clients that support partnership managers in negotiations
• Support the operational execution of media campaigns and their reporting
• Assist with the integration of new automotive brands onto the platform
• Contribute to go-to-market projects, including rollouts of new products and features in the German market
• Work with international teams to deliver on partnership objectives

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Currently enrolled in a university program (Business, Business Informatics, Engineering, or comparable field)
• Fluent German and business-level English (daily collaboration with international colleagues and partners)
• Analytical mindset with enthusiasm for working with numbers and data
• Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve processes and workflows
• Strong presentation skills with experience creating compelling visual stories in PowerPoint and Google Slides
• Independent working style with a desire to take ownership of projects

Preferred (but not required):

• Prior practical experience in business development, consulting, media/marketing, or at an automotive manufacturer
• Experience with Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, or SQL

What you'll gain: By the end of this internship, you will have owned OEM analyses and pitch decks used in real client meetings, understand the mechanics of retail media and automotive media planning, and developed practical data analysis and visualization skills.
