About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential IT services organization in the Braunschweig area seeking an experienced Fullstack Software Developer. Our client delivers complex software projects for enterprises across multiple industries throughout Germany, working with modern technologies and agile methodologies.

This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire software development lifecycle, building scalable microservice applications with a modern tech stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance modern microservice-based applications across the full stack
• Implement backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST APIs
• Build intuitive frontends with Angular (version 18+)
• Analyze technical requirements in collaboration with business units, UI/UX teams, and development teams
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security across the entire technology stack
• Conduct error analysis, debugging, and optimization of existing applications
• Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and agile development processes
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery

What We're Looking For

• Minimum five years of practical experience in fullstack development
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST API development
• Experience with Angular or comparable frontend frameworks
• Solid knowledge of microservices architecture and modern software design patterns
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and DevOps tools
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Analytical thinking with a structured, solution-oriented work approach
• Team spirit, initiative, and strong communication skills
• German language proficiency required for this position
