Praktikant*in – Simulation

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential supply chain consulting organization seeking a motivated student intern to support their simulation team in Frankfurt am Main. In this role, you will:

• Support simulation and optimization projects for modern logistics and production systems
• Work within the consulting and simulation team on material flow simulation projects using Plant Simulation software
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of Plant Simulation standard libraries
• After your onboarding period, potentially develop your own thesis topic based on project needs and continue supporting consulting engagements
• Collaborate closely with your team to understand client requirements and develop creative solutions

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a student who brings:

• Academic background: Currently enrolled for at least 3 semesters in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable programs, preferably with a logistics focus
• Programming experience: Initial hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, or similar
• Technical skills: Proficient use of MS Office applications
• Teamwork: Strong collaborative approach, interest in understanding client needs, and enthusiasm for developing creative solutions
• Analytical mindset: Genuine interest in complex problems and ability to structure content clearly
• Language skills: Fluent communication in both German and English, written and spoken

Pay
