About the Role
This full-time Phlebotomist I position in Costa Mesa operates Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekend scheduling as needed. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $24.00 to $25.70 per hour, based on your relevant skills, training, experience, education, and professional certifications.
What You'll Do
- Draw blood samples from patients using proper phlebotomy techniques
- Prepare and label laboratory specimens for testing
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Record patient information and specimen details accurately
- Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare team members
- Follow Quest Diagnostics' quality and compliance standards
What We're Looking For
- Current, active state-issued phlebotomy license (California residents: state license required; NHA certification alone is not accepted in CA, WA, or NV)
- Demonstrated phlebotomy experience and technical competency
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Professional demeanor and excellent patient interaction skills
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment
