About the Role

Join our team as a Phlebotomist III managing specimen collection across multiple patient care sites in the Oak Ridge North and surrounding Montgomery County area. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotating weekend responsibilities, earning $23.13 per hour. This territory-based role combines hands-on phlebotomy expertise with coordination responsibilities, serving as a resource for collection quality and patient education.

What You'll Do

• Collect blood and other clinical specimens using proper phlebotomy techniques and sterile procedures
• Prepare, label, and manage specimen integrity throughout the collection and transport process
• Maintain all phlebotomy equipment and supplies, ensuring operational readiness across assigned sites
• Educate patients on pre-collection requirements and provide compassionate, professional care during procedures
• Follow all OSHA bloodborne pathogens standards and Quest Diagnostics safety protocols
• Support quality assurance initiatives and mentor team members across territory locations

What We're Looking For

• Current phlebotomy certification (PHT, CPT, or state equivalent) with demonstrated field experience
• Proven ability to collect specimens accurately with minimal patient discomfort
• Strong communication and customer service skills in a clinical patient-care setting
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple collection sites
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for territory-based assignments
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in diagnostic medicine
