Role Overview

Your Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations and standards
• Provide detailed patient counselling on medication usage, side effects, and potential drug interactions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to optimise patient treatment plans
• Maintain medication inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock management
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness before dispensing
• Offer immunisation services and health screening programs when applicable
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation
• Stay current with clinical developments and continuing professional education

What We're Looking For

• Valid provincial pharmacy licence and registration in Manitoba
• Professional experience as a Pharmacist (or equivalent qualification)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for patient care
• Collaborative approach to working with healthcare teams and patients
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical practice and patient safety
