Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization in Brazil seeking a mid-level Back-end Java Developer. In this role, you will:

• Develop software applications, programs, and systems following project specifications and requirements
• Test developed software to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring quality delivery and client satisfaction
• Document code to facilitate future maintenance and updates
• Support the development team by providing technical guidance and leadership in delivering high-quality solutions
• Build efficient, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
• Research and adopt new technologies to improve software performance and efficiency
• Monitor production systems to identify issues and implement solutions

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings the following qualifications:

• Degree in Technology or related field
• Strong proficiency in Java (versions 8, 11, and 21), Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs
• Database knowledge with SQL Server and Sybase
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, PubSub, or RabbitMQ
• Practical experience working in agile teams using Scrum, XP, or Kanban methodologies
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence applied to development, including tools like Devin, Cursor, or Gemini, AI API integration, language model (LLM) concepts, and best practices for AI adoption in backend applications
• Experience creating and monitoring batch processing, preferably using Spring Batch
• Understanding of system integration patterns
• Clear and assertive communication skills with ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Programming language certification (desirable)
• Cloud certification (desirable)
