Partner Manager, Consulting Alliances

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential legal technology organization that is building out its European consulting alliances function from the ground up. This is a founding role on the partnerships team in the region, working with top-tier consulting firms and systems integrators to drive client adoption of an AI-powered legal workspace platform.

You'll own a portfolio of strategic consulting relationships across Europe, working directly with their alliance leads and practice heads to identify opportunities, enable their teams, and close deals alongside our client's sales organization. This isn't a role where you inherit a playbook—you'll help write it, shaping how the partnership model works in this market.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with consulting and systems integrator partners across Europe, from practice leadership through to alliance stakeholders
• Map account and pipeline opportunities with partners and drive co-sell motions with the European sales team
• Become embedded with sales and customer teams to develop product fluency, enabling you to credibly demo and discuss the platform with partner organizations
• Keep partner teams enabled and current as the product evolves, ensuring they can effectively position and deliver solutions
• Identify partnership friction points and collaborate with leadership to resolve them
• Help define the partnership operating model, including service delivery responsibilities and go-to-market structure
• Track partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and revenue, feeding partner and market intelligence back into the organization

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Proven experience in alliances, partnerships, or business development at a SaaS or AI company, with demonstrated success building pipeline, closing deals, and maintaining productive partner relationships over time
• Firsthand experience with how consulting firms or systems integrators operate, particularly around decision-making processes and technology partnerships—we need someone who understands the strategy and delivery side, not purely coordination
• Comfort building a partner program rather than inheriting one; you thrive when structure doesn't yet exist
• Strong commercial judgment with the ability to navigate multi-party deal complexity and know when to push forward versus step back
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously (relationship management, pipeline development, enablement) across several partner organizations
• Excellent communication skills across organizational levels, from partner leadership to field teams
• Adaptability to work with rapidly evolving products and help partners stay current
• Willingness to travel across Europe to support partner relationships and joint customer engagements

Preferred:

• Background in legal technology, professional services, or experience selling into law firms or in-house legal departments
• Familiarity with AI products and positioning them to risk-conscious buyers who prioritize accuracy
• Experience as an early hire on a partner team that subsequently scaled
