Role Overview
The Property Porter position is essential to our San Ysidro property's daily operations. You'll work directly under the supervision of our Regional Property Manager and Community Manager, taking primary responsibility for maintaining the grounds, landscaping, janitorial services, and curb appeal that make our property welcoming for residents and guests. This full-time role offers steady, consistent hours and the opportunity to be part of a property management team with over 65 years of industry experience.
Core Duties
- Perform regular grounds maintenance and landscaping upkeep throughout the RV park and studio apartment complex
- Complete janitorial and cleaning duties in common areas, grounds, and facilities
- Maintain and enhance overall property curb appeal and aesthetic standards
- Report maintenance issues and property concerns to the Regional Property Manager or Community Manager
- Follow safety protocols and property management guidelines during all work activities
Who We're Looking For
- Previous experience in property maintenance, grounds keeping, or janitorial services (preferred)
- Ability to perform physical labor and work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work full-time hours
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, attractive spaces
- Ability to take direction from management and prioritize assigned tasks
- Flexibility to perform varied maintenance duties as needed
