Childcare Center Classroom Assistant – Bilingual Spanish/English

Join Tierra Encantada in Eagan as a full-time Childcare Center Classroom Assistant and support our mission to deliver exceptional Spanish immersion early education to children ages 6 weeks through 6 years. About the Role

As a Classroom Assistant at our Eagan, Dakota County location, you'll work alongside our lead teachers to create engaging, nurturing learning experiences that blend language acquisition with early childhood development. You'll contribute to a structured, intentional classroom environment where bilingual communication thrives and every child's growth matters.

What You'll Do

• Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, transitions, and routines in both Spanish and English
• Support language immersion instruction by engaging children in conversation, storytelling, and play-based learning
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning space that encourages exploration and development
• Observe and document children's progress in language development and social-emotional growth
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to children during learning activities and meals
• Communicate with families about their child's daily experiences and classroom milestones
• Follow classroom and center-wide safety protocols, including proper sanitation and emergency procedures

What We're Looking For

• Genuine fluency or strong proficiency in both Spanish and English
• Experience working with or caring for young children in an educational or childcare setting
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for early childhood development
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and colleagues
• Strong communication skills and attention to individual child needs
• A commitment to maintaining safe, hygienic, and supportive learning environments
• High school diploma or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)
