About the Role
As an Options Trader at Eclipse Trading, you will manage positions in equity derivatives and other complex financial instruments. You'll work within a collaborative trading environment where sharp analytical skills and disciplined risk management drive daily decision-making. This role offers direct exposure to high-velocity trading operations and the opportunity to develop expertise across diverse market conditions.
What You'll Do
- Execute options trades across equity derivatives, delta one strategies, ETF markets, and commodity derivatives
- Monitor positions in real-time, adjusting strategies to respond to market dynamics and volatility shifts
- Analyze pricing opportunities and identify risk/reward imbalances across products and timeframes
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and risk management teams to optimize execution
- Maintain detailed trade records and contribute to the firm's continuous improvement in trading processes
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience trading options or derivatives in professional or competitive settings
- Strong grasp of volatility, Greeks, and options valuation fundamentals
- Excellent numerical and analytical abilities with quick decision-making skills
- Discipline, integrity, and the ability to execute under pressure
- Interest in cryptocurrency, commodity derivatives, or emerging markets is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, engineering, or related field preferred
