About the Role

As a Floater Teller for Austin Bank's Southwest Region, you'll provide essential support across our Frankston branch and surrounding area locations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build diverse branch experience while delivering the exceptional service our customers depend on. You'll be responsible for a wide range of teller operations, including processing financial transactions with accuracy and care, managing cash handling and drawer reconciliation, and ensuring all interactions meet our high standards for customer engagement.

What You'll Do

• Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing with accuracy and efficiency
• Verify customer identity and manage account verification procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements
• Reconcile your cash drawer at the end of each shift and flag any discrepancies for resolution
• Assist customers with account inquiries, provide product information, and offer solutions tailored to their banking needs
• Support branch operations by learning and performing work across multiple locations, providing flexibility where needed
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to financial transactions and customer data protection
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and support colleagues as needed

• Proven customer service excellence with a commitment to building strong client relationships
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately
• Understanding of banking regulations, including BSA and CIP compliance, or willingness to master these requirements
• Reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work full-time and adapt to scheduling across multiple branch locations
• Basic math proficiency and comfort with banking systems and point-of-sale technology
