Onboarding / Security Engineer (WFH)

Join Prime System Solutions as an Onboarding / Security Engineer in a full-time remote position based in Metro Manila, Philippines. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage secure onboarding processes and maintain robust access control systems for our growing organization.

Position Summary

This role bridges IT operations and information security, focusing on the secure provisioning and offboarding of team members. As Onboarding / Security Engineer, you'll ensure new employees gain timely access to systems while protecting company data and maintaining compliance with security protocols. You'll work independently from our Metro Manila office or your home, collaborating across departments to streamline onboarding workflows and strengthen our security posture.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee onboarding: provision accounts, configure access permissions, and deliver systems orientation to new hires
• Manage offboarding workflows: revoke access rights, decommission equipment, and audit departing employee data removal
• Administer user access controls, permissions, and credentials across company systems and applications
• Document onboarding and offboarding procedures, maintaining up-to-date runbooks and security checklists
• Monitor access logs and conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with security policies
• Respond to access-related support requests and troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and security teams to optimize onboarding timelines and security controls

Qualifications

• Experience with user provisioning, account management, or IT onboarding processes
• Working knowledge of directory services (Active Directory, LDAP) and identity management concepts
• Familiarity with security best practices and access control principles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow and improve documented procedures
• Solid communication skills for collaborating with non-technical staff and team members
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable internet and a professional workspace
