SOC Analyst

Join Prime System Solutions as a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. We're seeking a detail-oriented security professional to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across our infrastructure on a full-time basis.

What This Role Involves

As a SOC Analyst, you'll be the frontline of our security operations, working in a fast-paced environment where vigilance and quick thinking matter. Your day-to-day work involves watching over security monitoring systems, recognising patterns that indicate potential threats, and taking swift action to protect our systems and data. This is hands-on technical work that demands both analytical capability and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Core Duties

• Monitor security alerts, events, and logs from multiple sources in real time
• Investigate suspected security incidents and determine their scope and severity
• Escalate critical threats to senior security staff and incident response teams
• Document all security events, findings, and actions taken during investigations
• Maintain and update playbooks and procedures for known threat types
• Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security issues and vulnerabilities
• Assist in preparing reports on security metrics and incident trends

What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of network security concepts, systems, and protocols
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) platforms
• Ability to analyse logs and identify anomalies in network traffic
• Knowledge of common cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication for incident documentation and reporting
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a constantly evolving security landscape
