NY or MA Licensed DBT Therapist – DBT Master’s or Doctoral – Telehealth – Full-T

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential telehealth organization that specializes in evidence-based behavioral health treatment. We are seeking NY or MA licensed DBT therapists to deliver comprehensive dialectical behavior therapy services remotely to adult clients across the United States.

This is a full-time telehealth position ideal for clinicians who are passionate about working with complex presentations and value collaborative, consultation-driven practice. You will provide individual DBT therapy and co-facilitate DBT skills groups via secure video platforms, while working alongside a supportive team of DBT-trained providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual DBT therapy sessions via live video to adult clients progressing through Stage 1 treatment
• Co-facilitate DBT skills groups utilizing evidence-based curriculum and materials
• Assign and monitor digital psychoeducation activities and assessments to support skill generalization between sessions
• Participate in weekly DBT consultation team meetings to maintain treatment fidelity and provider support
• Attend one-on-one consultations with DBT team leadership
• Deliver culturally responsive care that accounts for diverse backgrounds and experiences
• Manage clients presenting with high-risk behaviors including suicidal ideation and self-injury
• Collaborate with 24/7 crisis support teams as needed
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Unrestricted, active New York or Massachusetts clinical license (LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, or psychologist) able to practice independently without supervision
• NY LMFT/LCSW candidates must hold diagnostic privilege
• No current or pending disciplinary action on licensure
• Formal didactic training in DBT (examples: Behavioral Tech training, DBT Foundational or Intensive Training, in-house training with consultation team, tape review, and 1:1 supervision)
• Minimum one year experience providing comprehensive DBT including individual therapy, skills group facilitation, consultation team participation, and skills coaching
• DBT-LBC certification preferred but not required
• Demonstrated experience and comfort working with clients who engage in high-risk behaviors
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensure to support program expansion
• Proficiency with video therapy platforms (Zoom, Google Meets, Doxy.me, etc.)
• Prior telehealth experience preferred but not required
